We began alpaca farming in 2003 with a couple of pregnant females. Our herd has expanded to include breeding females and stud males from a range of top quality genetic backgrounds. Our aim is to breed fine quality coloured huacaya and suri.
Fairhope Alpacas is located in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range just north of Bairnsdale in East Gippsland. With ample space, we are able to maintain low stocking rates on predominantly native pastures, which provide optimum conditions for our animals to achieve their maximum genetic potential. Our progeny tend to grow out to well-framed, robust adults with outstanding conformation carrying abundant fleece.
We provide sales of quality females and males, wethers suitable for herd guards, pets or lawn mowers, as well as the services of our suri and huacaya stud males. See our sales and stud services lists.
